Dan is a 40-Year veteran of police and fire services, a retired law enforcement officer and fire fighter. He retired in 2022 as the City of Portage, Michigan’s Deputy Director of Public Safety. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Aquinas College and is a graduate of the 234th session of the FBI National Academy. Dan has over 20 years of experience in accreditation services. He has been an accreditation team leader for 13 years.
